Kumari Madhubala Advani

Maa Madhubala Advani (M.A., B.Ed.) coming to Jodhpur is, in itself, a great miracle and a divinely ordained event. Her ancestors were originally residents of Sindh before the partition of India. Due to her father’s employment as an engineer in the Railways, the family migrated from Sindh and settled in India. She is the youngest child of her father, Late Shri Jeevanlal Advani, and her mother, Late Smt. Lakshmi Devi. While her eight siblings were born at intervals of two years in Sindh, she was born in 1951 in Sirsa, a city in Punjab, India.

The Day Destiny Unfolded

The 9th of December, 1970, marked a golden and unforgettable day in the life of the 19-year-old Madhu Maa.

By divine grace, she had a sudden and unexpected meeting with her spiritual guide, Maa Basanti Manihar. This meeting took place in a hospital, where both were present to attend to their respective mothers.

What appeared to be a chance encounter was, in truth, a divinely guided moment that would shape the entire course of Madhu Maa’s life.

It was within the hospital premises itself that Maa Basanti Ji introduced Madhu Maa to her own spiritual guide, Shri Nandkishore Ji Sharda, affectionately known as Bhaiyaji. In the years that followed, Bhaiyaji also became Madhu Maa’s spiritual guide, deeply influencing her inner journey and spiritual evolution.

The Dawn of the Spiritual Journey

In the year 1971, Madhu Maa took admission in M.A. Psychology in Jodhpur. These two years of her college life proved to be decisive milestones on her spiritual path. Almost every day, while returning from college, she would engage in spiritual contemplation and discussions with Maa Basanti and Bhaiyaji.

Birth & Childhood

At that time, the flame of the quest for true knowledge had already been kindled in her heart, and all her doubts were being resolved logically and convincingly through the guidance of Maa Basanti and Bhaiyaji. This authentic spiritual knowledge became the very foundation stone of her spiritual life. It brought about such maturity and inner clarity within her that even the greatest temptations of the world could no longer attract or influence her.

Bhaiyaji guided Madhu Maa through even the most rigorous and demanding spiritual disciplines in such an exceptionally gentle and simple manner that she always felt as if Bhaiyaji himself was infusing her with the strength to complete them, joyfully leading her forward on the spiritual path.

Under Bhaiyaji’s guidance, Madhu Maa undertook the spiritual disciplines of many exalted conscious divine powers and was blessed with their grace. Through these practices, she was blessed with numerous profound and extraordinary divine experiences that further deepened her spiritual awareness and inner realization. Among these sacred attainments, she was also blessed with a direct vision and divine communion with Mother Saraswati, an experience of immense spiritual significance and grace.

Alongside this, Maa Basanti guided Madhu Maa in the worship and realization of the formless Supreme Absolute (Nirakar Parabrahma), leading her beyond form and name into the realm of pure consciousness. Every spiritual practice that Madhu Maa performed with complete dedication, focus, and sincerity bore fruit through the combined blessings of Maa Basanti and Bhaiyaji.

Sadhna

In addition to these sacred achievements, Madhu Maa was granted the rare and extraordinary privilege of transcribing the divine scripture authored by Bhaiyaji, titled “Wonderful World After Death”. This invaluable opportunity to put into written form such profound divine knowledge stands as a testament to the deep trust, spiritual closeness, and inner preparedness that Bhaiyaji recognized within her.

From Sadhana to Selfless Service

After years of intense Sadhna, in 1996, Shri Nandkishore Sharda and Maa Basanti were divinely inspired to serve humanity. Reflecting deeply, they recognized girls’ education—especially in western Rajasthan—as the most pressing need, where girls were often seen as a burden due to poverty and illiteracy. They believed that without educating and empowering girls through values and sanskar, India’s future was bleak.

Girls Education

With Maa Tripursundari’s grace, they founded the Swami Vivekanand Students Welfare Charitable Trust on June 10, 1996. Maa Basanti Manihar became the Founder, and Shri Sharda took on the role of President.

Having imbibed the core values of empathy, equality, and dignity under their guidance, Maa Madhubala Advani joined the trust at its inception as a selfless dedicated grassroots worker under Shri Sharda’s leadership.

Trust Work Trust Work

Madhu Maa immersed herself wholeheartedly in the Trust’s sacred mission, dedicating her time, energy, and inner resolve to its steady growth and smooth functioning. Alongside Shri Nandkishore Sharda, she regularly visited schools, personally engaging with principals, teachers, students, and parents. With patience, humility, and clarity, she communicated the Trust’s vision, explaining its deeper purpose and long-term commitment to value-based education and holistic development.

She listened attentively to concerns and questions, addressed doubts with compassion and wisdom, and fostered an atmosphere of mutual respect and confidence. Quietly and selflessly, she also managed much of the work behind the scenes—coordinating efforts, ensuring continuity, and maintaining harmony among all involved—without seeking recognition or acknowledgment.

Through her unwavering dedication, consistency, and gentle yet firm guidance, trust was gradually built. Over time, her efforts nurtured a strong network of supportive stakeholders who came to believe in the Trust’s mission and stood together in cooperation. This foundation of goodwill, faith, and shared purpose became a vital pillar in sustaining and expanding the Trust’s work..

Girls Education

To instill values like humility, service, environmental awareness, and reverence for nature, Madhubalaji conducts motivational sessions every Sunday for college girls. These classes nurture their personality, strengthen awareness of rights and duties, and support character-building.

Acceptance of Sacred Responsibility

Trust Work

In the year 2021, after Maa Basanti left for heavenly abode, Madhu Maa humbly accepted the responsibility as the President of the Trust. In accordance with the divine guidance and directives of Divine Mother Maa Jagatjanani, Shri Nandkishore Sharda and Maa Basanti Manihar, she began carrying out all responsibilities with remarkable efficiency, dedication, and grace. She has been seamlessly managing and overseeing all activities and initiatives with unwavering commitment and spiritual clarity.

These responsibilities include the administration and smooth functioning of the trust, the publication and widespread distribution of noble and spiritually enriching literature, and the nurturing of education, values, and spirituality among young girls through regular Sunday morning classes. Through these efforts, she continues to shape character, instill moral values, and awaken spiritual awareness in young minds.

Besides, under Madhubala Maa’s leadership, a dedicated team of highly qualified, selfless individuals from diverse fields offers lifelong mentorship and support. This nurturing environment has fostered deep sense of belongingness. The girls draw strength from the fact that the Trust stands beside them in times of need.

Trust Work

In addition, through Sunday evening spiritual knowledge discourses, she provides guidance for the inner and spiritual growth of all seekers associated with “Manidweep,” helping them progress steadily on the path of self-realization and inner upliftment.

Alongside these spiritual initiatives, she also actively oversees social service activities such as the distribution of food grains to the needy, the organization of free yoga classes, and the operation of vocational training initiatives like sewing centers, thereby supporting self-reliance and well-being within the community.

Her journey of selfless service continues to this day.

A Living Embodiment of Divine Wisdom

Madhu Maa has imbibed the sacred wisdom that she received from Shri Nandkishore Sharda and Maa Basanti and has deeply assimilated it within her own being. The same divinely experienced, nectar-like wisdom, enriched by inner awakening and devotion, is now being propagated by her with complete sincerity, dedication, and unwavering commitment. Through her selfless efforts, guidance, and spiritual inspiration, she is transforming the lives of thousands, filling them with inner joy, peace, contentment, happiness and true love for God.

Madhu Maa's presence itself is a blessing — serene and luminous, adorned with childlike simplicity, a smile filled with divine compassion, and conduct steeped in tenderness and grace. Through her loving words, even the subtlest and deepest spiritual truths blossom effortlessly within the hearts of seekers. In her holy presence, hearts bow in humility, and souls offer themselves in reverence before the boundless depth, purity, and sacred radiance of her God-realized wisdom.
